Edit Me Challenge 10-17-12

Friday, October 19, 2012
Fall is in the air!  This week's photo is perfect!  Thanks Julie!

Here is the original:
I kept my edit simple.  A simple pop of color, a touch of brightness and added a little of a vignette to draw the eye in.  Now I just need a picnic basket and a blanket!

Sweet Baby

Wednesday, October 10, 2012
My niece recently had a baby and I was so lucky to get to photograph him!

Edit Me Challenge 10.10.12

I couldn't resist having a shot at editing this photo of this adorable little girl from Rebecca Curtis.
I simply did a clean edit by sharpening up her eyes, bringing out the color and deepening the contrast. I also smoothed the skin a bit and enhanced the rosy flush to her cheeks.   I finished off by brightening up the image, darkening the edges and adding a bit of a warm tone.  I also added a very slight bluish haze which I masked off her face.
So pretty!  Be sure to check out all the other versions of this photo over at Edit Me Challenge.

Edit Me Challenge (Larissa)

Thursday, September 27, 2012
This week's photo over at Edit Me Challenge is so cool - I had a ton of fun with it!  The photo is from Larissa.

I cropped a bit, popped the colors, brightened the photo and added the "Plastic Wrap" texture from Photoshop.  What a fun, interesting effect!
Check out all the other cool edits...

Edit Me Challenge

Thursday, September 20, 2012
Yeah!  So happy to find some time to get back into the challenges over at Edit Me Challenge.

This week's photo is from Sarah over at From Sarah's Camera.

As soon as I saw this picture, I knew I wanted to give it some personality by adding some drama.  The only alteration I made to the photo was to adjust the levels to get some light.  Then I simply added 3 different textures and the cloud overlay to achieve the final dramatic look.
Thanks Sarah for letting us edit your photo!
